Itinerary

Day 1: Airport Ben Gurion - Train to Jerusalem - Welcome and Shalom!

Welcome to your culinary discovery of Israel! Upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport, you will board the train directly to Jerusalem and go through the ochre-colored landscape. Once in Jerusalem and checked into your hotel, you will spend the rest of the day marveling at the religious hustle and bustle of Christians, Muslims, and Jews - either on foot or by tramway. Our in-house English-speaking audio guide will help you explore the Old and New City and provide you with plenty of historical contexts and first culinary tips.

Currently, the following tours are available in our app: the Government District Tour, the Jerusalem by Night Tour, the Jewish Quarter Tour, the Mount of Olives Tour, the Old City "Must See" Tour, and the Old City "in-depth" Tour.

Included: Welcome package at the airport, train to Jerusalem, Jerusalem Audio Guide

Overnight in Jerusalem

Day 2: Jerusalem Old City Tour - Machane Yehuda Market Food Tasting

Your first day in Israel starts with a real Israeli breakfast. After breakfast, our tour guide will take you on a guided tour of the Old City of Jerusalem. You will learn about Jerusalem legends and anecdotes, and cross the four neighborhoods of the Old City. After the tour, you will have a better understanding of the basic features of the complex coexistence of three world religions. In the afternoon you will head towards the modern Jewish part of the town to enjoy your first food tasting of authentic Israeli food. The vibe at the famous Machane Yehuda Market is unique and you can expect a visual and flavorsome feast!

Included: Breakfast, 4-hour guided Old City Tour, Machane Yehuda Market Tasting Card

Overnight in Jerusalem

Day 3: Jerusalem - Masada - Ein Gedi - Dead Sea - Jerusalem - Train to Tel Aviv

Meet your shuttle bus before dawn and cross the Judean Desert to the fortress of Masada, once built by King Herod. The rocky desert landscape is known for its unique landscape. After the natural spectacle, you continue to the oasis of Ein Gedi. In the national park, you will learn a lot about the barren desert habitat, and swim around in the Dead Sea. This is good for your skin and soul. The afternoon and evening in Jerusalem are at your leisure. We recommend an optional visit to the Holocaust memorial Yad Vashem. It is the world's most important memorial commemorating the Nazi extermination of the Jews. Afterward, you will head to Tel Aviv by train.

Included: Breakfast, self-guided tour to Masada, Ein Gedi and the Dead Sea, train to Tel Aviv

Optional: Holocaust memorial Yad Vashem

Overnight in Tel Aviv

Day 4: HaCarmel Market Food Tasting - Free Culinary Time

The best way to start your day in Tel Aviv is with a walk along the impressive beach promenade towards the HaCarmel Market. Enjoy your second tasting around lunchtime and sample some of the most popular dishes available. Visitors and locals are drawn to this walkway that displays the freshest products Israel has to offer alongside appetizing food stalls and souvenir stands. Once you have tried everything, we recommend taking a look at the avant-garde boutiques and coffee shops of Neve Tzedek and Florentin. Not to be forgotten is the spectacular HaMesila Park, an urban park between skyscrapers, and the extravagant Rothschild Boulevard in the Dizzengoff district with its numerous hip restaurants.

Included: Breakfast, HaCarmel Market Food Tasting Card

Optional: Graffiti Tour, artists' neighborhoods, HaMesila park

Overnight in Tel Aviv

Day 5: Tel Aviv - Flea Market in Old Jaffa - Train to Airport Ben Gurion

On the last day of your trip, you might be looking for a suitable souvenir. The Jaffa neighborhood, the historical and Ottoman-influenced part of the city, is particularly suitable for a relaxed last day. Strolling through the flea market and Shuk HaPishPeshim you will find old and new treasures. Snack on one last delicacy at the market before it's time to say goodbye and depart for Ben Gurion Airport.

Included: Breakfast, Ben Gurion Airport transfer by train

Optional: Jaffa Old City stroll at the flea market
