Tel Aviv Train Station
Train to Akko

Enter the train at any station in Tel Aviv. From there, take the train to Akko (1:40h). If you are carrying heavy luggage, stop in Haifa and drop your bags at your accommodation.

Take the Bus to the Old City

Take Bus number 13 to the old city of Akko. At the visitor center you can exchange your voucher for a 5-Museums-Ticket.

Take the train to Haifa

Head back to the Akko Station and take the train to Haifa (30min).

After your breakfast you can leave your luggage at your accommodation for the day. 

Walk to the "Carmelit" subway and take it to HaCarmel Center station

From the Haifa Center HaShmona Train Station walk 6 min to “Carmelit Paris Square”. Then take the subway to “HaCarmel Center station” – about a 12-min ride. Exit the subway and walk downhill 10-minutes to the starting point of the tour.

Join the guided tour of the Bahá’í Gardens at 10:00 AM*. The entrance is located at Yefe Nof St 45.

Head to the Stella Maris Monastery

The tour will end on Hatzionut Avenue, just a 15 minute bus ride from the Stella Maris Monastery. Get off the Bus at the Edmond Fleg/Tchenikovsky Stop. From there the Monastery can be reached in less than 5 minutes by foot.

Ride the Cablecar!

Only 2 minutes from the monastery you can find the top station of the Haifa cablecar. Make sure to enjoy the beautiful views of the Haifa and Akko bay area before you take the cablecar down to the coastline.

Bus to the Center

From the bottom station of the cable car Bus 17 takes you to the center of Haifa. If you have left luggage at your accommodation you can pick it up now.

Train back to Tel Aviv

Take the train back to Tel Aviv (1:05h).

Entry to all train stations is subject to a personal baggage check.

Every station entrance is manned by security guards who operate in accordance with Israel Police guidelines and are committed to upholding your dignity and safety during the security check.

Please be aware that lines may develop at the security check stations during peak hours in the morning and afternoon/evening (6:00-9:00 and 15:00-19:00), so it is important that you arrive sometime prior to your train’s departure.
